Terrible! Ordered the quesadila of the day and ended up with food poisoning. One other person ordered the same as I and she got it too. Also their guacamole was a weird army green color. Looked nasty.
Service was ok, but food was slow to come, wife’s enchilada was gross and unimaginative my steak was over cooked and tasteless , nothing had any flavour or pizazz …… However, for some strange reason, their appys are not to bad, had the bruschetta and although it was done differently it was good….. Dinner sucked though……
Terrible experience with the cook and chicken today. I have been many times over the last 1.5 years and it has always been a great experience. Today it was HORRIBLE. First off let me say the wait staff are GREAT!!!! My waitress was amazing. The cook and chicken not so much. For the first time ever i had to send my food back ( first time ever) the chicken was so bad even my friend agreed and the cook refused to make me a new salad with new chicken. I have never heard of that! That is poor customer service and i still got charged for a salad i never ate. Bless the waitress’s heart she took half off but i should of never been charged in the first place. Unfortunately, that experience is enough that i won’t go back and my business associates after hearing what happened today will not go back either.
Very mediocre food. Also the menu is huge and many items have nothing to do with Mexican. Quite confusing. Rule #1 of a good restaurant is do a few things well, not many things poorly.
Horrible Customer Service, Bad Food and Rude Owner. I went for take out today and had the worst food, it was a waste of $50. I called to complain and was passed onto the owner who did not address my concerns at all. She said she made it and it was good. She would not even apologize and just laughed at me. I told her that we would never be back and she obviously doesn’t have customer service skills and she laughed and said she didn’t care. If she doesn’t care about her customers why support her?! So much for trying to support a local restaurant. Never again will I eat there and recommend that you can spend your money better elsewhere.
Was so disappointed. I thought this little place was going to be a Jem but nope. I ordered a taco salad and it was disgusting I couldn’t even finish it and it was $14.00 I would have rather went to subway and got a salad from there. Bf got the Thai peanut chicken burger ur said it was ok, but this man will eat anything lol save ur money don’t eat here.
Excellent. Authentic, not authentic, whatever, they are american-mexican, and who cares anyways, considering how good the food is, and what a great variety they have on their menu! Decent price as well.The quesadillas are awesome. Burgers are fantastic. Baked Mac n’ Cheese is to die for!I like that you choose what to have your meal with! I usually go for the salad, because the house dill dressing is SO good!Service is usually pretty good and quick.I frequented this place and was never disappointed. I no longer live in Vernon, and I had a Little Tex craving the other day, so I found a mexican type place where I’m living now, and I was very let down, as the food was no where near as good as Little Tex, so it just didn’t fill the void!Little Tex is the best!
