Absolutely the worst service I have seen for many years. Went there for breakfast on May 28. Waited almost 30 minutes before waitress asked us if we wanted coffee. Waited another 15 minutes to even get a menu. When food finally arrived after waiting 30 minutes after ordering, pancakes were lumpy and not well cooked. Even had to send a plate of pancakes back which took another 15 minutes. We had to ask waitress for coffee refills and even finally for our bill. I have no intentions of ever going back there if they continue with the present management and service.
Horrible Service. We attempted to eat at Ricky’s in Vernon on May 2nd. I say attempted, because we walked out before even being seated, it was ridiculous!7 of us arrived at around 5:15. We were seen right away, but nobody acknowledged us as we stood inside the door for 10 minutes. Finally I waitress came over, asked how many in our party, and informed us there was a 10 minute wait. She also told a table of 1 behind us that she would have to wait 10 minutes as well. Odd since the restaurant wasn’t even half full. The girl offered no apologies or explanations. We waited the 10 minutes without having any staff acknowledge us again, we even waited another 5 minutes after that, then we gave up and walked out.

Breakfast too cold. I have eaten at Ricky’s many times for breakfast and it was good. This time the service was good but food was cold. The waitress was run off her feet having to look after 10 tables plus the bar tables as well.. We were table #4 meaning that is how many tables had patrons Two of the tables had their food. Table #3 was waiting for theirs and then there was our table with two patrons. She brought our coffee and then the remainder of the tables began to fill up. We waited about 45 minutes for our breakfast with no refill of coffee. All tables were full and we did get our food after tables #3 received theirs. The hostess brought our breakfast. You could tell it had been left under the warming light. We were hungry and ate it. We won’t be frequenting the restaurant any time soon. E and E
Don’t bother…. Sunday dinner. Food was okay (not great). Service was terrible – long waits, forgotten orders. Only four other tables occupied!
Awesome. The food is just great, the breakfasts come out fast and they are cooked to perfection. Strawberry Smoothies at anytime of day are great. We have been staying at the Pacific Inn attached for about a week now. Ricky’s is a great restaurant. Give them a go, you’ll love it.
