First and last time.. I decided on some of their sushi. Worst mistake right there, I’ve had better sushi at buffets seriously. The rice was awful and they skimped out on the avocado and cucumber. .. almost didn’t even get chopsticks. Seriously would not recommend their sushi. They should stick to the basics.
This place used to be amazing but has consistently went downhill over the last couple years. Every time I go in the food is worst than the last time and the service is to the point now where I will not go back. On top of the poor service and poor food they have become unbelievably cheap. 2 packages of soya sauce when you spend $50 on food is ridiculous and when we ask for extra they throw in 4. If you order sushi the amount of ginger given is about 1/2 a teaspoon. Fortunately there are lots of good Chinese restaurants in Vernon that care about food quality and customer service. Rice box has lost a loyal customer forever.
