On a whim, we decided to visit this little restaurant, tucked away in a strip mall, based solely on the fact that it’s by the Superstore where we fill up regularly. Expecting no more than standard sushi, we were pleasantly surprised at the unique variety of sushi on offer. My family (4) ordered Party Tray S, which came with an ample amount of food. Not so much that it was wasteful, but just the right amount to leave full up. The varieties of sushi were amazing. No California rolls or spider rolls (though they were available on the menu). Instead we were treated to a new variety of unique flavours. Some were great. Some we couldn’t decide if we loved or not. But none were bland, or inedible by any means. My only complaint is the level of saltiness over all. The Miso Soup was a bit too thick on the Miso side, meaning it was strong on the side of salt, and the biggest disappointment was that the sauce on the table was regular Soya Sauce instead of sushi sauce, which is less salty. Other than that it was a great experience, and next time we’ll order out so we can use proper sauce with these unique tastes.

We bring lots of family and friends along to experience our favourite place to get sushi in Vernon and we visit Wasabi on a regular basis and have never been disappointed! Keep up the great work!
