Do not eat the hot food as with all western chinese hot tables or buffets they load in the msg to make there shitty food taste better lol still doesnt work this is horrible takeout plus be careful they dont take out the food that has been sitting there for hours they hust put the fresh stuff on top i know 4 ppl who have had food poison there stay far away plus they treat there workers like shit and pay them minimum wage come on fairway you should change your name to Faraway from quality
Hot Food at Fairway Market on Quadra Street. Their hot foods are very good. lots of choices. I like their steam buns a lot. I also like their hot foods. Their cook, Ms Fang, would made the food right away when i ordered. Anyone should try their foods.
Quick and simple. Its not bad I would compare it to mall food quality has been consistent quantity depends who you get as far as price, it all depends on quantity. place looks clean and the service is friendly They have a wide selection to choose from Thai is a separate option.
Great price. For a fast breakfast…..you can not bet it , it is the best!
Tasty quick fix for unexpected visitors. The hot food is awesome – the selection always delivers. My husband and I ate two small items of meat/veggies for only $13. The same meal would have cost double elsewhere. Word of caution: I would not take anything from the salad bar though – way too open for germy people to do nasty things like cough, use their fingers etc… Service has also always been consistently wonderful.
$7 for sugary ginger beef and shanghai noodles? hard treat to beat, really. i can’t say i’d trust eating anything from this place that wasn’t kept steaming hot. frankly, their salad bar scares me. it LOOKS fine, but there are a lot of rubbies and hobos that freely wander through this place and could easily get their germs anywhere near the cold salads. basically, if it ain’t hot and kept away from the hobos, don’t eat it.
Decline in quality. We live local and visit often. One of us is from Hong Kong – and we both adore Asian food. If you want fresh diverse produce – Fairway is the place to go. However, where once they served delicious take out – delicate tasty morsels of meat and vegetables in tasty sauces…now have been replaced with bland, tough meats in sharp, cheap sauces and large chunks of gneric veges to fill the container. Very disappointed at the last 4 or 5 dishes we’ve got from there. Won’t be back – and that’s a shame.
