Crispy ginger beef- where was the beef?. I order the famous crispy ginger beef. The girl at the front was friendly and it was finished in a nice container in less than 10 minutes. The flavour was delicious , but there was almost no meat- it was all soggy and some crispy dough.Will not go back.
I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid, having grown up in the area. The crispy ginger fried beef is my favourite. I understand people being dissatisfied with the amount of meat, it is quite breaded. But I LOVE it. The house fried rice with prawns, cashew or almond chicken gai ding, chow mein, and broccoli beef are all awesome. It’s my favourite Chinese food in the city.
Best Chinese in town
Amazing Take Out. For me, this is the go to place for great takeout chinese food. Their house chow mein is great, and their famous crispy friend ginger beef is the best I have ever eaten. Great value and great portions. Highly recommend!
As far as western Chinese cuisine goes, this is poster boy. It is only average, and just so at that. But it doesn’t leave you feeling heavy (no MSG) and is pretty cheap for what you get. This place won’t win any awards but I will probably call them again in the next year or so.
Take out. I get take out here quite a bit. Reasonable prices, food ready quick, nice staff. War won ton is my favorite.
