Fresh, tasty food. Fast friendly service but busy so can be hard to get a table. Take away if needed. It’s worth it……………………….
Some of the best tacos we’ve had. The meat is seasoned wonderfully, even the chicken. (Which is where most taco shops and trucks fall short, in my experience.) The recipes are family recipes straight from Mexico, and it shows. Even the chips and salsa impressed.
Good food, fair prices.. We had one of each of the tacos here. There were all pretty good, and the prices seemed fair. Would definitely go back.

Great food. On the surface this place looks like a generic Mexican fast-food style eatery in a strip mall in Vic West. However, the food is outstanding – the best Mexican food in Victoria in my opinion – and the staff and service are exceptional. After trying almost all of the local Mexican restaurants in Victoria and suburbs, this La Taquisa is the best I’ve had, and it is also better than the other La Taquisa location on Blanshard.
Bland & Boring. I seen the 92% like status and a few decent reviews.I think staff and family members wrote the reviews.I had a chicken burrito and was disappointed. Super dry and no flavour.Seasoning can go along way.I feel duped and will not be back.
I’m still on the fence about this place. Have been 3 times. First 2 were great tonight not so much. Tonight beef burrito was bland – mostly been, minimal beef. Asked for spicy … But suspect sauce was missed during prep. Generous portion of chips but they tasted stale and the fresh salsa was bland – I binned it! guacomle also bland and oddly fluorescent green. Disappointed.
