We had a group or 16 when we visited so that’s tasking on any restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised by the good service and the attentive waiter. The restaurant is in a fabulous location although we were a little ways from the windows I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the house. The lunch was very good and they had a good selection of beverages as well, think I’ll try it in a more intimate situation I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.
We had the crab cakes and a flat bread with pulled pork to start and they were both amazing! The crab cakes were so fresh with an amazing crunchy outside, and the accompanying sauces paired perfect! We also tried the Cobb salad, and it didn’t disappoint either! Food made for a great dining experience. Views were definitely not bad either!!
First time dining at Lure – and to top it off, we had a nice summery day at their patio. Staff were friendly and service was good. I wasn’t too impressed with the brunch/lunch menu options though. They could’ve added more to the frittata (aka a side of hash browns? It was looking a bit stingy for the money they’re asking for). Items ordered were: albacore tuna, crab cakes, frittata, florentine benedict, and fish n chips.
Have been there a couple of times Not overly impressed, million-dollar view but the food so so Atmosphere was so so , the waiters I feel could have dressed a little better for a restaurant of this caliber When I rush back again ? No I don’t think so
Went for the happy hour and were seated by the window and had an excellent view of Inner Harbour. We took advantage of the half price appetizers and ordered the mojito, caesar, yam and herb fries, lamb meatballs, fried chicken wings, artisan breads, edamame and bbq pork poutine. Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance, the staff/service was welcoming and the good value meal.
The waiter was hardly around and kept rushing even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. The place has nice atmosphere. Oh and also, we all GOT TERRIBLE FOOD POISONING from their raw oysters. It tasted delicious but that was three days ago and we’re all STILL curled up in bed with stomach pains and diarrhea. WTF was wrong with their oysters?! They shouldn’t be a seafood restaurant if they can’t handle and serve seafood safely.
Brunch. We had a delicious brunch this morning at Lure. The service was fantastic. Can’t beat the ambiance and the food was delicious.
