I will never eat here again… And nor do I recommend it to anyone else. We were charged FULL price for a 2 year old! Who of course had only a few bites off of my plate. The food was always empty and there was not much to choose from.. It tasted like it was heated in a microwave from the night before. Half of it was cold and the other half was gone. The staff was friendly, but pushy. Multiple times they tried to take our plates while we were still eating off of them. It is now a few hours after we ate and we have all had to run to the washroom. I will never ve going here again..
My son in law wanted to go to a Chinese buffet for his birthday so chose Lucky Village. We arrived at 6:30ish as soon as we walked in the door we had to pay for the buffet before we even saw was in the buffet. Once we were seated we went to dish up. Over half of the items were empty. We understand that in a buffet it is common to have things run out before it can be refilled. We dished up a few things that were there and waited for someone to come and fill it up again. We were there for over an hour and only two of the items were filled. The food that was there was barely warm not very flavourful. We left feeling very unsatisfied. I guess I understand why you have to pay before you try it! We were very disappointed and will never be back.
My name is Betty Smith, and my husband is Joseph Smith; we have been a regular customer at Lucky Village Restaurant more than 1 year ago; the reason we always goes back, are quality of the food, cleanness of the whole restaurant, owner and staff are so friendly, and makes us wants to come back, just like going back to your 2nd home.This small restaurant is family owned, and this family works so hard for their customer.Thanks for listening to the truth.
Worst delivery ever!! Ordered 4 dishes tonight, was told 45 minutes. After an hour and 10 minutes, we called, told it was on the way, waited another 15 since we live literally around the corner. Owner offered 50% off, fine, food finally comes, pay, tip and go to feed some hungry kids….. Nothing is fresh or hot!!! Chicken wings are room temperature and soggy, not only is the tempura lumped together in a cold oily puddle, the styrfoam container is completely melted. The wonton soup container was not hot to touch. How can soup even be cold!?! Fried rice was okay because it was in a tight aluminum container. All in all, a terrible dinner experience. Owner sent driver back to refund and take food, we’re now waiting for him to come again because owner wants the rice paid for. Ridiculous in every way.
Great food. It was better than most chinese food places. The staff and owners were extremely friendly. Will definitely order again in the future.
So much delicious food. Incredible service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Chinese food. The price is right and I’ll be coming back for sure.
