Best Sushi in Langley along with Noma Sushi which is a little more expensive. Isn’t the biggest selection for special rolls but I love ordering the sushi & sashimi box and the assorted sushi combo both under $15
The food came reasonably quickly, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well lit. Unfortunately, they make extensive use of yam tempura as a cheap filler without stating so in the menu, and it ruined the Dynamite and Crazy Boy rolls. They very kindly gave us four pieces of mystery sushi on the house, but it turned out to be (no surprise) yam tempura. The green tea was more of a black tea, and had very little flavour. The high points of the meal were the Golden Tiger and Pink rolls, both of which would make a return trip worthwhile, but of course they were also $11 and $9. We didn’t try the teriyaki, which features extensively in the menu, so it might be good.
Good food. Good service. Good experience. My coworker and I usually call Akane, reserve a table and preorder the food before we go for lunch, so it will be quick for us to arrive and eat at the restaurant quickly. We do these all the time. Orders are always well taken care of! That’s great! Food came out right after we arrived. We could eat the food right away. The restaurant or chef always makes some samples for us to try. The sushi or many dishes are delicious. We are surprised that we can find a good Japanese restaurant with good quality of food in Langley!
Average sushi restaurant. Good customer service and place gets busy. Ordered Ramyun and for $7.99 it was instant ramen noodles with no veggies or meat… Was expecting at least veggies added if they are even going to add this item on the menu. Spicy salmon roll was ok.
Absolutely Delicious. I found this sushi restaurant in the neighbourhood and boy, it was one of the best sushi places I have ever been. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. In addition to the usual sushi varieties loved by many, e.g, California rolls, Alaska rolls, spicy tuna combinations, they ALSO have the authentic Japanese dishes like oyako-don (aka chicken Donburi) and chirashi-don. I LOVE their version of the oyako-don. In addition to the usual chicken topped by cooked egg that’s in the traditional oyako-don, they add chap chae as a Korean interpretation of the dish. It tastes absolutely amazing and I would eat this dish any day!One thing I have to mention is their specialty rolls. They made my wife absolutely going ecstatic! There is this roll called the Crazy Boy roll (pardon the wacky name) and it has their special sauce and yam in it. Its taste is to die for!I highly recommend this restaurant!
Fantastic place!!!. Service was quick, sushi fresh and huge portions , gyzo amazing and the Dinner boxes with Terrayki and tempura were just as wonderful! Can’t say anything negative about our dining experience here! Will be back !!
