My favorite place for wonton soup and spring rolls. The dinner for 2 is a good deal. We always pick up the order so no complaints about delivery .
Possibly the worst Chinese I’ve had. Waited an hour and ten minutes for pork that was more fat than meat. Little flavour. You get better at the food court in the Mall.
This was so disappointing I had to write my first ever review. Ordered delivery- came cold. Lemon chicken was so soggy it was not edible. Wontons had an odd flavour,as did the black bean chicken. Chow mein was fine, but bland. Tried to save a few bucks because they were cheaper than Empire, big mistake I won’t make again. I called them and let them know.
If there was a rating lower than one star…Why is it that some people have no respect for the customer. You lost customers today over a piddly little coupon argument.Went in for dinner with 4 of us, with 2 Entertainment Book coupons. Entertainment Book rules say up to 3 coupons per table/group, but the manager here says only 1 coupon per group. we were ready to order our normal amount, plus add a couple of free entrees. They argued with us, and made up feel small and cheap. They missed out on $100 meal, or more. Thanks … won’t be back.
Wow, I was led here by good reviews and a false hope in some nice Chinese food and I don’t think I’ve ever been so let down.We walk in and the place is completely empty, nice decor but completely dead (that should’ve been our first clue) so we sit down and was served immediately. Servers were polite but nothing to rave about. They got our stuff and that’s about it. It took us 15 minutes to pay because no one would even look at us. We ordered food for 4 of us:Chicken chow mien: rubbery, greasy, blandGinger chicken: where’s the ginger?? BLANDS&s chicken balls: sickly sweet, tasted like they were covered in syrup and guess what? BLANDCurry beef: mediocre, stringy beef We tried to order French fries but apparently they don’t have them (then why are they on the menu?)The only thing I enjoyed were the shrimp chips which is the only thing I actually stomached eating. The entire time I couldn’t stop thinking about how sad I was that I’d have to pay for this. Eating out isn’t a regular occurrence for me.I’m currently typing this in the McDonald’s down the street. Do yourself a favour and skip it.
Love the food, the price and the signature dishes…best Chinese at Walnut Grove. Last week I was in a hurry to pick up some party food right after work. Remembered my friend’s good comment about this Dragon River, so decided to give it a try. Ordered Ginger beef with green onion, almond chicken, chicken fried rice, wonton soup and Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce – a feast for a house of 5. After the 10% cash discount, I paid only 4/5 of what I usually pay for ordering other Chinese. My kids looooooooove the fried rice, and the wonton soup. The ginger beef is my favorite. Since then we have been back for 5 times already. Yum… will try all the items on the menu. 😛
Tasty food, poor service. My family really enjoyed the food after eating in here, but I don’t think we will be returning. After arriving the quoted 40 minutes after ordering take-out, we were forced to wait a further 40 minutes with no explanation or apology. Disappointed with what seemed to be a decent chinese place.
