Great lunch, had the Wagyu Beef Dip which was very good. Au jus was spectacular as was the mayonnaise for the fries. Definitely worth returning for.
Really this place is disappointing. The second time we’ve been here, and it’s barely improved from the first. First, no place to hang nor does anyone offer to take jackets. Then they tried to sit us at a noisy table right beside the waiter station, even though there were plenty of empty tables near the window and elsewhere. The menu is small, limited, as is the wine list. The prawn cocktail was good but I don’t why anyone would put truffle oil in the rose Marie cocktail sauce. The wagyu steaks were tasty and tender but very small (8 oz acc to menu but looked more like 5or 6). No one offered ground pepper, salt or other condiments after the steak was served. The side dishes were mediocre to bland. After dinner our waitress very kindly & condescendingly lectured us on how many restaurant ppties the parent company owns in AB & BC. Gee I sure was mighty impressed!! After all I dun only eaten at dem fancee places in NYC, London, Paris, Lyon, San Fran, Sydney, etc……guess that don’t count fer nuthin’, nossiree!This place SUCKS!!!!!
