Of all the ice cream and gelato shops along the White Rock pier, Dolce is my go-to place. Portions are large and the selections are original and flavourful. My favorite is the sour cherry which is so fluffy and light and simply to die for.
The gelato is decent here, we ordered the raspberry and you can tell they use real fruit. Not too heavy, the gelato is refreshing especially in the summer. Not the best gelato we’ve had, but definitely very solid. If we’re ever in the area we would come back. One down side is that they do not have a large selection of flavours to choose from.
This has been my go-to gelato place in the White Rock/South Surrey area. Its located right outside the gates of the White Rock Pier, hence very convenient to grab something from here and then take a walk along the promenade. The gelato are made from fresh ingredients. I remember they have fulvic acid gelato once (like black water gelato) and it was really good.
Excellent!! I could not have been happier with my choice of gelato. I was feeling adventurous with the flavours, so I chose to try the Cardamom and Orange Blossom and the Ricotta and Carmelized Pecans. Delish!! It was so good, I had to go for a second round .
You’re not going to find a more authentic Italian gelato anywhere in the Lower Mainland — and believe me because I’ve eaten dozens of gelato all over Italy before. Try their house flavours and you definitely won’t be disappointed. I can’t even say which flavour is my fav. My only complaint is that it’s located on the Marine Dr at White Rock and its a 40 min drive away . Not the easiest place to get to.
One of my favourite places to get gelato. Now that the Gelateria burned down, this place is for sure the best on the beach. I’ve been coming here since I was a wee little one and they kept the same quality they’ve always had over the years. Personal favourite is the mango gelato, but I also enjoy the pistachio. If you at white rock beach, this is essential place to go right before a nice walk on the pier!
