I don t think I’ll be back!! Watching the fries come out out of the freezer and the the plastic ripped open– than the the chile in the Tupperware container and into the microwave– you’ve got to be kidding!!!
great food, great service. only thing is they dont like if i want to switch from sausage to bacon. but maybe i shouldn’t be making changes to their menu items 😛 keep up the great work!
Not Bad, but?. Nice little diner. Good breakfast but so out of touch with the real world. Thier prices are the same as most restaurants in the area and yet they DO NOT accept credit cards or interact!. Wake up and join the 21st. Century. This is the Only restaurant in the area that does not take cards. We like the restaurant, but go elsewhere because of this.We go out for breakfast at least twice a week.
Terrible Food, Unfriendly Service. Soup tasted like came from a can. Portions were small. Service was unfriendly. For the price we paid, we could have a better meal somewhere else.
Why us?. So we went to the cafe… Food was fine but being asked to leave because people are waiting I think is a bit rude. Especially when there was a table of people sitting around infront of us that was there before us doing nothing as well. I don’t know why we were asked to leave but not them but for whatever reason very very rude.
Why us?. So we went to the cafe… Food was fine but being asked to leave because people are waiting I think is a bit rude. Especially when there was a table of people sitting around infront of us that was there before us. Is it so bad to sit around sipping on some coffee after breakfast and catching up with my brother??? It’s not my fault that I came in early to get a table while the late comers decided to have another drink of booze the night before!!! I don’t know why we were asked to leave but not the table that came in before us but for whatever reason very very rude.
What a Diner should be. When you enter this place it seems like the usual Diner Schtick… Lunch counter, fifties decor….etc… No real marks for originality, but the food here is really good. Made with care and not afraid to throw in some atypical options (black and white pudding and potato pancakes) right along side plain old burgers and fries (done right BTW).This place is a classic, not because it’s pretending to be one, but because it does all the right things a classic should. Stick to the basics and perfect them.
