Quaint little cute cafe off the strip beside White rock beach. Aroma of coffee and eats tantalize you as you walk in. Decor is lovely and dishes were good! Would come again if we have a chance!
Love Laura. I love this place I go here almost everyday to get a coffee and usually a treat! My son is 6 he gets Laura’s lemon cookies he loves them. I’ve never had a grouchy service always a smile.
Morning coffee. Came to enjoy a morning coffee but was met with an extremely rude barista. 3.25 for a piece of gluten free toast is also a little over priced. However, I would have been happy to pay if the staff were more friendly.
Great coffee, fresh goodies. This is a great little cafe. I’ve always found the muffins/scones very fresh; you’ve got to try the sour cherry scone. Laura, the owner, makes them herself and she is so friendly and welcoming. Alot of regulars come here and I like that you can have your furry friend with you in the warmer months. A casual, relaxed coffee shop – I like it!
I lOve this place! The chicken panini is so delicious and everything is! The owner is so nice! Must try it! befoodstar.wordpress.com
*Edit*. Terrible barista gone: enter amazing baking and a super-friendly attitude from the owner. Definitely an improvement from my last experience.02 Feb, 2011Not the right attitude. Went here for a coffee and scone to go. Ordered a peppermint mocha and then moved politely aside to wait. There was only one girl on. She made my shot, then another man came to the register and wanted a refill normally this wouldn’t bug me except she stopped making my drink to ring in, and get his refill. Espresso shots get more and more bitter the longer you let them sit and usually barista’s don’t let them sit more than ten seconds. After the gentleman left the register I requested that the barista re-make my shot. While I can understand I may have seemed incredibly picky, the attitude I received from the barista made me feel as though the high price I paid for my coffee didn’t matter at all. It would have cost the girl thirteen cents to remake a coffee, and she could have whined about me later to her coworkers behind my back. I would have preferred that to the (still) crappy coffee I received.
To be fair…. They aren’t lying when they say your coffee comes with attitude. The hot chocolate was nice though and the sweets were pretty good.
