Ordered cod filet & chips to take out and enjoy on the beach for the lovely sunny Wednesday. Server was nice and accommodating with the extra utensils. Fish & chips were tasty with the tartar sauce. Fries may have been a tad overdone but still had the crispy factor. A little surprised we couldnt order pop for takeout though.
Met some friends for drinks and bite to eat. The place was empty. The service was ok but the food was awful. I ordered the Pacific cod fish taco. It was mostly shredded cabbage with barely any sauce so it was flavorless. The small piece of fish in each looked like the frozen kind you get at the supermarket and was way overdone. I suspect it had been microwaved for too long. The other members of our party were unimpressed with their nachos and didn’t finish them. Another example of a White Rock restaurant that has gone downhill due to new owner ship .
