Good food. Good service. Easy to get a table and pretty fast service. We did not expect anything fancy, but just needed something decent after a long day and Banana Leaf did not let us down. Absolutely good food and reasonably priced. Recommended.
I had a me goring noodle dish and asked for it to be very mild no spice, but it was still very tasty. There were a dozen other friends but the service was very efficient.
I thought that the meat in the rendang had an off taste. They did not have nasi campur. It seemed that the rice had a smokey taste — unusual. The portions are very large. Good service.
Great menu, with pictures and explanations about the dishes. They were happy to do ‘sharing’ plates so we could taste a range of things. The spring rolls are really good and aubergine ‘chips’ brilliant. The fried banana dessert is just wonderful.
The food here was amazing! A little spicy and so flavorful. The presentation was really nice and unique. Curried pineapple fish, roti canai and coconut rice are a must have. I would definately go back again.
Excellent and friendly service. Unfortunately, for our tastes, the food lacked flavor interest. For example, the mango salad was nearly dry, said to have fish sauce but we could taste none of it. Squid rings greasy.
