In West Vancouver, this is what happens: in Park Royal, you go there and get your coffee. Sit and spend some time there with your computer and run out of your battery. You charge your battery. So far so good. The day after, you go there have your coffee and muffin. Spend some time in the same spot and need to charge your computer. You see that the power outlet is taped with duct tape!!!! You ask them and politely here that: the only power outlet working is the one by the window just in the corner of the … EXIT. BUT IT WAS WORKING YESTERDAY O..MAN !!!!In another branch in Marine Drive and 24th, you sit there for 2-3 hours after getting your coffee and they come like you are spending so much time here. Can we share the table you’re using? You accept it and in less than 10 min, they come back and say: you need to move to the corner and consul by the window since we need to give this table to other customers. Seven costumers have complained about you.ARE YOU KIDDING? I HAVEN’T SEEN SUCH A THING SO FAR IN STARBUCKS. NEVER EVER.

I recommend Faubourg if you are in Park Royal, Greenhorn if you are in Downtown, Cafe Ca Va if you are on Marie Dr., Caff Artigiano if you are in North Vancouver. Their goods and services are way better.
My go to coffee house on Denman. I usually go for the Americano Misto, its always good and the staff are always polite and smiley. The atmosphere has a lovely neighborhood type vibe and is very friendly. I read a book, people watch and let the day go by. Before heading out into the madness of Denman and fending off the West End crazies! 3.5 because i haven’t tried any of the food. All round its a nice, relaxed coffee house serving good coffee.
