Horrible place. This place has by far the worst sushi we have ever eaten. The sushi was not fresh and the ingredients used were of low quality. The waitress was rude. Our stomachs did not feel very well for a couple of hours as well.
Horribly expensive. I had been here a couple of times before with my bf and we always found it to be rather expensive and the food was just par nothing to yell about so we always chose to go to another of the zillion sushi houses in Vancouver but last night a friend that I hadn’t seen in a very long time asked if we could meet there and I said sure. We both had a bento box (he had the salmon and I had tonkatsu) and We shared gyozas and we both just had water to drink but when the bill came his showed to be $17.95 and mine was $8.95 and $3.50 for the gyozas so I called the waitress over and asked if it was right and she said yes so I was absolutely mortified! For the 3 pieces of overcooked dry salmon he received? Ridiculous!!!
They are trying to FOOL ya!. Ordered a Wild Salmon and Toro Donburi. Only found out they included only 1 piece of Toro and substituted the rest with Tuna. This restaurant scams their customer.
Worst sushi in town. Horrible service, worst food. Never come back.
Spicy tuna roll was one of the worst i have ever had, the spocy sauce was horrendous and the tuna was not fresh. The dynamite roll was much better, i can get behind the double prawn for sure. The gyoza was fairly run of the mill as well, and the service was essentially non-existant.
The waitress convinced us to have brown rice and we laughed when it cama and was just white rice dyed brown. We stopped laughing when the bill arrived and we were all charged an extra $3 each for dye. The service was slow. When I had to approach them for the bill they ignored me until they had it written. I’ll never go here again. I recommend Yuko Maki one block down Davie.
Really do NOT like this one. I tried yesterday, very bad, food was not fresh, difficult to eat, really high price!!!! Don’t know why people still sit inside
