Stopped by for my usual latte and berry scone. This location is not as consistent as the Broadway location in the expresso process. I think the tamping was too light, or not enough grind was used, so my drink has a bitter after taste. At The Broadway location, I would not have had to use a sweatener. Also, the almond milk was not steamed to perfection. As a result, the drink was weak, thin and slightly bitter.I’m not sure if each location bakes their own scones, but today, the recipe is different, they’ve added a layer of sugar topping to the scone which makes it less healthy with more sugar content. Aaarg… Not an improvement!
