I don’t think this place needs another review…but oh my goodness the chicken tortellini!!! I don’t know how they make the filling so flavorful. The lasagna is amazing too, I think one of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they use quality cheese. The carbonara is SLIGHTLY on the salty side, but still excellent. Lobster bisque and Osso Bucco were also pretty solid. Will be back to try more! Definitely prefer this over CinCin for the price.
Elegant, cozy and great menu. I think it was a good call to move this restaurant to this location. There are multiple unique areas to dine in this restaurant include a killer patio that doesn’t feel like your in the middle of downtown. Almost reminded me of the Homer Street Cafe. The menu has excellent options and the food is prepared with excellent execution. The server was well educated on the menu and was attentive.
Truly had a wonderful experience here. Their pasta was amazing. My absolute favourite was their lasagna. It was delicious! If an Italian restaurant can’t do lasagna right, I’d be worried. But certainly no worries with Giardino… the lasagna was killer! Overall, I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was great. Also, I’m more of a white > red wine kinda person, but the waiter recommended two great red wines to us… went well with our meals and we finished both bottles.
This has to be the best restaurant in Vancouver! The food are incredible, the pasta, the ribs, the calamari is so tender can’t stop once you are on it. The service are amazing. Everything about this restaurant Love love love
Our favorite Italian restaurant in Vancouver has re-opened! It was our first time at the new location tonight to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint.Simply put: amazing food, exceptional service, unforgettable experience.Our server Patrick was the best server we ever had hands down.In terms of the food, here is what we ordered:1) Beef carpaccio: was tasty and light. Perfect way to start the night.2) Salads – we got the romaine salad and the beet salad. The beet salad was fantastic. It was topped with Burrata and had drizzles of balsamic vinegar through out.3) Pastas – we got the spaghetti carbonara and the spaghetti di mare. They were both fantastic4) Osso bucco – tender, succulent and moist. This dish was perfectly paired with risotto.5) Tiramisu for dessert was the perfect ending6) and last but not least, the Chateau Ste Michelle’s Riesling was amazing!!We highly recommend a visit to the new and still fantastic, Giardino!
