I went to this restaurant with my family and the host was extremely rude to us, when we ordered our food he told us that we ordered less even when we ordered a decent amount of food, we also told him that we’d order later but he tried to scare us. The food was average, not great. The host also tried to ask for tip by saying that he is not charging any service charges which was very rude.

Superb Restaurant. Had some of the best Bhindi (ladies Finger) that you can find at an Indian Restaurant! Hands down 5.0. The fact that they value freshly cooked food shows in the taste of the food.

Excellent Indian food. I’ve been back twice and I will keep coming back. The place is very clean and service is good. We ordered the Aloo Gobi, Chicken Chetinaad curry, chicken briyani, palak paneer, Lamb Rogan Josh and garlic naan. They were spot on taste on every dish. I noticed that the curries were made for individual orders so every curry dish tasted fresh and not overcooked curry. I’ll be back again to try more on their menu since every dish so far was so delicious. Oh and don’t forget to order their mango lassi.

Go for the deal!. Descending down the steps into what felt like a dungeon, we were promptly seated at a nice big booth. Menu is vast, a tad on the pricey side, just a tad… we had the butter chicken special for 2, it consisted on the aforementioned, some Naan, samosas, and basmati rice. At $22 it was a good deal compared to the rest of the stuff. We also ordered some Pekoras on the side. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had a couple of Indian beers and at $7 a pop, I would much rather be sipping down a local craft beer than those foreign budget lagers… Still it’s the food that counts right? And it was good.

Tasty but not enough meat in the dishes. Fresh decor but small tables and the soap dispensers in the bathroom don’t work very well. the samosas were way too greasy. the naan was the worst. the tikka masala was good but there wasn’t enough meat. if they’re going to basically serve you sauce and white rice then the prices should simply be lower. if the naan was the better, the curries had more meat and the prices a few dollars lower we would return.

A little Gem in the Westend of Vancouver!. We had some friends recommend Ginger Garlic to us. At first we thought it was a takeout food place but as you go down the stairs it opens up to a modern dining area. My girlfriend and I found the place very clean, the employees very kind and helpful walking us thought the menu. My girlfriend was recommend the palak paneer which was fabulous, I got the Ginger Garlic sizzler wow so much flavor, by far one of the best sizzlers I have had. The naan was fresh we really liked the garlic none was our favorite, with a little raita very tasty. We got great service at the time the place was very busy and we thought it would be tuff to get service but they did a great job. We also got to meet the owner, who actually is from Indian and he explained how he always wanted to own and run a restaurant, he was kind and we are both looking forward to trying the chicken pakoras next time we are in. We will be back !!!

Very ethnic food and friendly service. We went to this restaurant last weekend referred by someone. It is kinda hidden and looks like a takeout place from the outside, as you walk down the stairs, they have a very modern, cozy and very clean seating area, not to mention the washrooms, very clean. We had the Dine for two with extra Garlic naan and two drinks, it was enough for us and we did take some home. We ll be back again and try the sizzlers.
