We went to this place because of an attractive deal that we saw on Groupon. The ambience was good, interiors were fine.We ordered dumplings, chicken noodles, Tibetan bread and chicken curry preparation. The food was overall very bland in taste except the noodles and the bread. The dumplings were hard and chewy to bite into, the curry lacked flavor or aroma of any spices. The noodles was decent, but hardly any chicken in it. The bread was soft and fine in taste. Not a place that I recommend personally until they do some major changes in cooking.

I think this place has wonderful food and I’m glad there are some Himalayan options in Vancouver. Their curries are very flavorful and actually spicy when you ask them to make it spicy. The daal-bhaat masu is a great option for a good introduction to Himalayan cuisine. Prices are expensive, but the food is worth it. Nice dessert menu as well. I think their momos are not very good, a bit too dry and lacking in the moisture and juices that good momos usually have.
Ordered my meal for delivery at 6:30 pm. I called at 7:30, and the lady assured me it would arrive within the next ten minutes. 15 minutes later, I called again, and the lady said that the driver was just on his way. Ten minutes later, I got a call from the driver saying he was five minutes away. My food finally arrived at 8pm – 1.5 hours later. I should mention that I live ten minutes away from them (in heavy traffic…) After waiting an hour and a half, I went inside, looked at my order, and discovered they had MISSED one dish. My food was lukewarm at best. I called the restaurant back – fuming- to tell them that they had missed a dish. The manager repeated my order back to me, correctly, stated that all items had been sent, and called me a liar. Born and raised in Vancouver, and this is hands down the WORST display of customer service I have ever encountered. The food was just mediocre.
Great curries at a reasonable price. The meat is super tender and the sauce is well seasoned. Not a fan of the Phuraula though, which are similar to falafel balls made with lentil instead of chickpea, they are super dense and flavorless. thehappysloths.com
The food took a really long time to arrive. Our male server was the rudest we met and we were baffled because he was sassy the first time we stepped into the restaurant. The food itself is ok but for the price and service, I wouldn’t take any of my friends back here anytime soon. astridserena.com
The food here is original and tastes good. I also liked the cocktails we ordered. Service was excellent, as well. All in all, I can hardly think of a reason to not recommend this place!
