We had dinner there last night and the service was horrible. We constantly had to ask for our dishes, they missed some of the items that we ordered and it took forever to get anything. With all that Vancouver has to offer in Indian restaurants, I’d find one with good service!
Worst indian restaurant for vegetarian food in town. Service is horrible probably the owner he is also a server. They will try to charge you $5 for left over food and would ask you to pay in cash so they can pocket it and save on taxes
Was my first time eating here and I had the WORST diarrhea almost immediately after getting home and 2 days after. I’ve lived in India for 3 years and have gotten stomach infections but this was horrible. Clearly tells you how hygenic the restaurant is if I’m comparing Canada with India! The food was OK but bland, if not for the fact that I got sick it would have been fine. The staff was friendly and attentive, but after our meal and the table was cleared we sat for 25 minutes waiting for the cheque and had to ask for it finally. The staff kept going back and forth and not paying attention to the fact that we had been waiting with a 3 year old and wanted to leave. Overall, I would not visit this restaurant again..
I just had a lunch there.. Even tho I was at almost the end of the lunch foos still pretty good! Tea coukd be better and no one of those Kirkland Chinese pouches.. Idia heaving an amazing tea they should promote that.. But the best was the bread… Oh that nana was amazing.. Their the only restaurant that make real naan bread in a tandoori charcoal oven.. Still thinking about that bread… Food selection could be better .. But I would go back anything!
Though the restaurant doesn’t have authentic East Indian cuisine (lack of flavours and food choices), it is a great place to eat. The overall atmosphere is great and the customer service is excellent.
