When I am in the Davie Area, I go here. I really like their Sashimi because the size is generous and fish is fresh. The other items on the menu are also great and it is not expensive. They have good Udon and sushi rolls too. It is a hole in the wall place and my favourite for Sashimi.
I had ordered take out from this place for lunch as i work just up the street and have never been here. The prices were decent, the lady who i dealt was very nice and helpful. However,,,I have never tasted such fishy fish in my life. The tuna was very old. I had co-workers try it to confirm that its not just me. The salmon not the best quality either.I had requested brown rice, however that also came very mushy.I am not a picky eater whats so ever but this is the first time ive honestly wanted to ask for a refund. Its a shame as i feel bad for the people whom work there as like i said they all seemd really nice. I truly hope they fix this.No one should have to do Fishy Sushi.
I had a real hankering for fast sushi while I was downtown. I must say though, the service at this location is by far the best I’ve had. The fraser locations service has gone down alot with the old lady at the till. I was greeted promptly and I would definitely come back for the service. The rolls are consistent. I ordered the house roll and it satisfied my craving.
This has to be one of the best Japanese dining experience I’ve had so far. The restaurant itself is minimal but the food and sake makes up for it big time. No bookings allowed and queues usually go out the door. Can’t wait to return to this little gem.
Went by here and saw a long line up. Didnt look very clean nor tidy but wanted to give it a try. Their rolls seemed enormous yet only ordered some sashimi, nigiri, unagi don and chicken karrage. Sashimi wasnt the best quality but it was alright considering its cheap price and big quantity. Nigiri was really big too but wont try next time because it was poorly cut and the rice wasnt my favourite type. Chicken karrage was unbearably awful. Very dry and not salty enough. It was overcooked as well. Unagi seemed okay. Wont come back and wouldnt consider coming back. sophiaeats.com
I ordered take out a few days ago and service was very prompt and courteous. The restaurant was full, a good sign. Will definitely order or come here again!
Should have listened to the reviews. The food is really cheap, but you get what you pay for. The quality is pretty bad and I was unfortunately not impressed. I may be picky for sushi, but I would not recommend
