Love thida thai! It has authentic thai curries with a nice flavour. I enjoy their lunch specials which offers a good variety of flavours. Their spring rolls are really tasty as well.
Thida Thai offers an excellent selection for both carnivores and vegetarians. Their portions are large and generous (you’ll have leftovers for later). If you’re a lover of spicy foods, as I am, this restaurant offers mild to hot choices: and the hot option will leave you in tears in the best way! Try the Massaman Curry; it’s delicious.
This is one of my favourite go-to Thai restaurants in Vancouver. I’ve been a regular for many years now. The portions are decent, the owner Wendy and staff are friendly and attentive, the prices are reasonable, AND the food is fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. My faves are the papaya salad, beef salad, chicken satay, coconut rice, and the curries. I now live on the Sunshine Coast, but always put in an order to go whenever I’m day-tripping in Vancouver. Great little spot
Gotta love the green curry. With so many good options at area, you definitely get a great meal with an authentic atmosphere. Doesn’t hurt just being up the street from home.
Atmosphere 1/1This is a medium sized family owned type of restaurant on Davie street. One side of the restaurant has large windows that open to the street, creating a patio feeling for those sitting near the window. The decorations consist of Thai styled banners and it’s all quite quaint. I went there for lunch and it was peaceful.Service 1/1Very friendly and on top of things. The waitresses took our order in a timely manner – didn’t feel rushed nor impatient. They always made sure my water was full, and collected finished plates quickly Food 0.5/1 It’s probably not the best Thai food in Vancouver but definitely was better than I expected! I ended up polishing off all my green curry despite not feeling very hungry prior. Price 1/1Honestly I’ve only had their lunch special price, it was $9 for green curry, rice, and a spring roll. Pretty good. Not sure what price would be for other itemsPersonal opinion 0.5/1Pretty good for lunch if you live or work in the area. Classic taste and cost for this level of restaurant. Won’t be craving the food but hey if I’m in need of lunch I’ll do this again
Unfortunately their Tom Yum Goong/sweet and sour prawn soup modified taste and became far away from the one you can have it in Thailand. I’m not going back.
Delicious. Very good Pad Thai, super flavorful with ample amounts of chicken and peanuts! Green Curry was very good too. The prices are awesome as well! This spot is a contender for my go to thai food.
