Have been a customer since the restaurant opened – generally eat there or take out twice a week – sometimes more often. Sushi is excellent and the menu varied, though I most often order the #1 special combo, as it seems to be the best value. Love the family owned nature of the business and the personal service – I generally phone ahead for orders to save time. Because there are only two chefs, when it gets busy they can get backed up as they are very popular. Other than the odd time when I have had to wait for extended periods for an order I am most happy to be a customer! Excellent value compared to other similar
We are loyal customers for about 5 years now. For the price point and the type of service they offer (take out and self serve seating) they absolutely deserve the maximum stars for the review. Their sushi is always fresh and they pay attention to detail. Love that it’s family run and that you can see they care. If you are looking to spend average but get great sushi in return, this is the place for you.

Sushi to go has never been so good. Excellent location. Sushi made to order. And very affordable. Imagine a filling fresh sushi combo for under $10. Good options and selection.
Always fresh and gigantic rolls. Their roll combo party tray for $30 is incredible value and quality. Definitely a cut above the other sushi joints in the area!
Precious family run restaurant just steps away from English Bay …… Don’t judge the taste of Yummy’s sushi by the ambience …this place rocks! Three family members work diligently all day and everyday to prepare fresh sushi. Be prepared to wait awhile during rush hours (5-7pm) as many orders can take 20-30 minutes to deliver…I always recommend ordering and then running over to Starbucks or Tim Horton’s for a coffee …or up to Safeway to buy a few groceries to make the wait not seem as long.
No longer take credit cards. Stop going to this restaurant in protest of them no longer taking credit cards. They have forever lost my frequent business!
