Absolutely delicious food. Glad we made a point in stopping and and trying out this place after reading about it online. The only complaint I have was there didnt appear to be any mature adults on site and the young lady at the till seemed a tad moody. #TeenageHormones Anyhoo – this place would have got a 5/5 otherwise. Will be back next time in the area. 😉

meh… that was my son’s reaction when I asked how he enjoyed the food. first off, bannock was ok. this place is all about the bannock, so you would think that whatever you ordered, the bannock would at least be fresh from the fryer, but no. we ordered 3 dishes: Guacamole Bacon Burger, Chicken Taco, and a kids Quesadilla First, the quesadilla was just a plain quesadilla. we were expecting a Bannock Quesadilla, so that was disappointing. full of lots of cheese, so the kid was happy about that, but no bannock ;(secondly, was the Chicken Taco. my 16 year old son was seriously disappointed in this dish as it lacked any kind of enthusiasm and taste. boring puts it pretty mildly. thirdly, the Guacamole Bacon Burger was just ok. the patty was a boring Costco style flavourless frozen patty. Guacamole was fine but bacon was cold. in fact the bannock was also cold and that is the biggest disappointment of all. for a place that specializes in bannock, you would think that making bannock to order would be the staple of their menu, but both dishes had limp, cold bannock that had obviously sat all morning, if not longer. a word of advice to the owner and as well as to the chef: make the bannock fresh and suddenly the ranking will skyrocket! I chose to come here because it’s a bannock restaurant. make fresh bannock! the place was not busy at all. we were there for lunch and there was one person at a table before us and later only two other individuals came in to order and I believe they didn’t even order meals. you could certainly have taken the two minutes to make fresh bannock. this is simply lazy. I get why the food came out quickly, but speed does not trump quality. take a couple minutes to give me quality and I’m hooked!will we come back? doubt it. unless bannock is made to order. not worth going for limp bannock. price was so so… $13 for a burger? there are many better options. but if the bannock was piping hot, then it would have elevated both dishes! just my opinion. fries were piping hot and tasty… shame about the bannock. real shame.
