I went in with my mom and sister and had some tempura. The batter was okay, but the actual meat inside was tasteless. I had the scallops, and they tasted like rubber. They had obviously been frozen before. The food was only subpar to our tastes, so we won’t be going there again.
I used to love this place, but have since been left heart broken & forlorn. My heart break began when I found out that they don’t use wild salmon (but they did assure me that their farmed salmon is fresh). Also the quality of the food has declined severely over the years leaving me unsatisfied. Thanks for the memories momo, but until things improve I’m looking else where for sushi love.
It’s was ok tasting. Better sushi places to choose from. Small sized sushi. You get charged .50cents each time you ask for extra ginger or spicy mayo. Only limited to certain amounts of ginger and spicy mayo. Asked to pay more but manager refused to give more spicy mayo and ginger not good customer service but enjoyed the atmosphere.Recommended different place, sushiYA, yamoto, zari sushi …
Yummy Ogopogo Dragon Roll. Yup! This is one of my favourite sushi places. Love the Spicy Sashimi, Ogopogo dragon roll and Sunomono. great servers as well.
This was the WORST sushi I have ever had! The Spicy Tuna roll tasted like lipstick… And for an appetizer, some nice crispy ROTTEN broccoli tempura. Also the Teriyaki chicken tastes like it was smothered in salt. All in all, absolutely revolting!
Price is fair compared to other Japanese restaurants in town. Good food, great service, awesome atmosphere from the recent expansion/renovation.
Its certainly improved. Went there after new owners took over. This place used to have a poor reputation. It’s surprising they were able to stay in business. The price is a bit high for what you get and considering there are so many other choices. The food itself was satisfactory but nothing great. The service was fantastic and they genuinely appreciated our business. Nothing that would stop me from going there but nothing motivating me either.
