Last time I will eat there. Food is never fresh. There is ALWAYS an error in my order, always. I’ve ordered wine a few times and its been bad. They need to open a new bottle and will admit that the wine served was from a bottle that was opened a week ago.The attitude that comes from the wait staff is horrible. It’s amazing actually that some of those girls are still working there. There is one girl there that is great. Sorry she has to deal with this. 3 years ago, this place was decent. It’s going nowhere but down hill now.
Don’t eat here. Spend your money somewhere that cares. Like many have reported it was great when it opened. We’d go visit a few times a week to a few times a month. That’s over a period of 3 years between both locations. Avoid the Westbank location for certain now. Service is very slow. Food quality has sharply declined. Much of what was once fresh is now packaged and frozen. Food arrives well below safe temperature and staff now just makes excuses and reheats it. It never used to be like this. The odd time we had an issue it was promptly and professionally resolved. Not now. Might be time for a staff and management overhaul.
If earls & cactus closed go to Original Joes. Same layout and style as the ever popular Earls Cactus format but done poorly. Food and drink mediocre but you can get much better food and service with earls or cactus. No chef inspired menu. Music overly loud. Not worth the time.
Sgt pepper. Was a tad dry but very good in the end12 Sep, 2014Cajun chicken caesar wrap. Wasn’t pre tossed so the salad was unevenly dressed, overall was ok12 Sep, 2014Beef dip. Overly moist, bread was very soggy and sandwich was extremely bland.
Avoid when possible. Had a few good meals when it first opened. It has steadily declined in both food and service. Perhaps overhauling management might improve things. Seriously, probably the only time we actually refused to tip, service was just that bad. Too bad as when it opened thought it was a great westside addition. Only had drinks but service was very slow and when the drinks cane they were wrong (cocktail was made with the wrong ingredients), no apology, no offer to make the drink as it should have been, just offered a different drink. Sad level of service considering the Original Joe’s in Kelowna is great.
Food was terrible spicy. We have been there and talked to the server that we do not want to spicy food. What we got pushed tears into our eyes. Our taste buts were burned, so we can not say how the food was. We will not be back.
