just nowRated There’s a lot to write here so I’m just going to do it in point form:- It took over an hour to get our appetizers, while we sat there with waters that went unfilled for duration of the entire meal.- They make their Caesar drinks with V8 instead of Clamato, I’ve never heard of this before, and it’s awful, and I don’t know why they wouldn’t advise customers.- They ran out of Pinot Grigio after one glass…what kind of restaurant only carries one bottle of a wine?- They told us that we were using all their shot glasses…there were 6 of us, with only 4 drinking. Not to mention they kept bringing over and charging us for extra shots that we didn’t ask for.- We ordered the butter chicken, which was approx. 90% sauce, and 10% meat.- The steak which was ordered medium rare came and it was overcooked and brown.- Finally we let the waitress know to split the bill 3 ways, and a minute later she comes back and the bill is all together. I’m not sure how that sort of confusion occured within such a short period of time, but it was essentially one mistake after another, and the worst service I’ve had in a long time. And I’m not picky. Mind blown. Will not be back.
Subpar restaurant considering the unique character of the building and a long history. I had to wait over 15 minutes for a waitress to come take my order during my lunch break. I had spaghetti thinking it would be a good indication of the quality of the food over all. It was definitely not made Italian style. The sauce was just dumped on top of the noodles and was not as flavourful as expected. This place is so close to my work it’s a shame, but I will not be dining anytime soon.
I am starting to think less is the new norm (and I don’t mean that in a good or positive way). It would appear that customer service and service in general has been declining, not with this place specifically, but sure puts a new meaning to it. Since when does service need to be an option when dining out?We walk in about 12:30 and you would expect the general crowd for food. You have people in for casual dining or those who are on their lunch break from work. We were promptly seated, my husband needed the washroom so before checking out the menu, off he goes. The waitress comes over with in a few min. of seating us, fill our glasses with water and asks us if we were ready to order, yeah, no. I told her we needed more min. While waiting for my husband to come back, I people watched. Once the husband got back, he mulled over the menu. The waitress finally came over and took our orders, clearly our glasses were empty at this point and she didn’t come over to refill the waters. One thing my husband did order when ordering his meal was pop, it took her 10 min to bring it over and yet can’t bat an eye that, oh I donno, that some of us perhaps want water. While waiting for our food, the table next to us, was a group of people who were on their lunch break, so granted their time to order and eat is limited, and yet had to go over to the waitress who was doing the cashiering, to give them take out containers. We finally got our food. The waitress pretty much did a dump and run, didn’t offer any parmesan for my pasta, if we needed anything else (oh, I donno water still). The group of people who left their table, I noted they has parmesan and a jug of water, I got up and grabbed both since the waitress was running ragged. We could hear the waitress apologized for her mix ups. Of course she will mix a lot of thing up, she is working alone, that’s not her fault, that’s the fault of who ever scheduled her to work alone. I think the business is wanting this server to fall flat on her face and quit since she gets stuck alone like this. During the lunch time hours, call me stupid, but one would think that you would have more then just ONE waitress on, on the front end of a restaurant and no one else to help in the front end. So this poor waitress was just not the waitress, she was the greeter, waitress, bus person and cashier. So she was busting her ass to do everything during a lunch rush. At 1pm we noticed a second waitress come on shift. Hello!!! Your poor co-worker could have used your help, oh I don’t know, an hour before hand, perhaps. So when the second waitress came on, there was no order to the madness. The second one started seating people, getting drinks, then orders, the first one comes over and asks to take the new customers orders. Excuse me, it’s called talking to your co-worker and having a game plan now that there is two of you on, figure out who has what section for any new customers who come in. Onto the food part of my review. My husband ordered a burger. The patties looked dry, a huge dollop of mayo on the bun, extra dry bacon, and fries that looked like they made it to the fryer a few to many times ( how do we know this, they were wrinkly and soggy, both features you don’t want in good French fries). My pasta was not vey flavourful. The ‘garlic bread was dry and stale. No offerings of parmesan cheese.
Exceptional Respect. This place offers the most amazing Greek food in town! The waitresses there really try there hardest to get everything done correctly with so little time and so much effort.I’ve been coming here a long time and I do not agree with the bad reviews what so ever, yea they get busy on a Friday or Saturday and service is a little longer, but when you waiter comes up to your table you can definitely tell she has been busting her but! And tell me if you owned a restaurant and it was rush hour and someone called that was over the 6km radius for a simple $20 order, I am sorry that will not cut it!! There is a reason they only go 6km from the restaurant and even then there still busy! Over all I’m a regular and I very much enjoy coming here especially when Celina and Sue are working. THE DAUGHTER TEAM!
Do NOT order from unless you’ve got a fat wallet.. Asked for delivery, I was informed I would have to make a $50 purchase in order for them to make my delivery which is 5.5 km away from the restaurant. Free delivery if your under 5 km but be prepared to pay thru the nose if your. 5 over and want food from this place… Very, very disappointing.
Very Fantastic!. Eating at this place for my first time I was very impressed, I’ve been eating there over a few years now and the service keeps getting better! The servers are well spoken and decently dressed. I love eating here great food and great AIR CONDITIONING! It’s a great place to get away 🙂 I will continue to come back.
Not impressed. Expensive and the quantity of food they give you is VERY little for the price. The quality was also sub par. I have had better food at the malls food court.
