Its a small neighbourhood hidden gem, like the LA Chicken of Surrey..Since the new management, the chicken has improved. Its got more crunch to it and more flavour. They also have a wicked double chicken burger deal on Thursdays. I usually go on Tuesdays for their two toonie tuesday special, its 2 pieces of chicken and fries for $3.99, and I get two of those and I’m good. Best value is on Tuesdays for the chicken and Thursdays for the chicken burger for $5.99
Stopped in and ordered a 4 piece meal, and a Karizma chicken sandwich to go. Chicken sandwich was good, got the spicy one, nice size portion, but the fries portion was small, and a bit soggy. The chicken pieces were spicy when I asked for mild, couldnt go back as we were home and it was a bit out of the way. Service was ok, it was busy (dinner time), maybe the owner should of been helping instead of supervising as the drive through was busy. Also, noticed that samosas were on the menu board, was told that they no longer sell them. Might go back but not anytime soon.
The new hot and crispy recipe and new burgers have changed this place. Try once I’m sure you’ll love it. Make sure you ask for spicy chicken and Karizma burger and GABBAR burger.
This place is disgusting and overpriced. Don’t bother wasting your money here. The chicken is drenched in oil and has no taste. They give you the smallest portion of fries which are always soggy and oily. The management is extremely poor along with their customer service. The owners are the worst, they do not value their customers or honour their word.
Went for lunch today (Tuesday), and I saw this place and decided to give it a try. My friend ordered the special which was a drum, thigh, and fries for $3.99. I decided to go for the 3 piece meal for $8.49. What a mistake. We got exactly the same meal, but I got an extra drumstick and paid more than double the price. The fries were so undercooked that they were soggy and on the verge of raw inside. The gravy was very old. The chicken itself, however, was delicious. Crispy and not over breaded. Not too salty. If you’re getting just the chicken, this is a great place. If you plan on getting anything else, I’d hit up a separate drive through.
Not good like before. We had some fried chicken yesterday and it was dropping with oil. Before it used to be up to par and with taste. Also, looks like they are under staffed or maybe staffs don’t pay attention to customers. Had to wait on someone to come in front for like 10 minutes while another customer pounced the window at drive through. Few weeks back my burger was under cooked. Wouldn’t go back again
One word – DISGUSTING. Curry places shouldn’t try their hand at fried chicken or similar. They have spiced chai and samosa as other options… Shall I say anymore? Try it out for yourselves
