So my bf and I decided to order take out. What a mistake this place is. It used to be filled with people every night of the week when it was Chili Pepper House but since theyve changed owners the place has gone downhill and fast! We ordered black bean chicken, general tsao chicken, masala fried rice (which used to be my favourite) and chicken chow mein costing $45. The rice was dry with two pieces of shrimp, the general tsao chicken looked and tasted like like their Manchurian chicken. I didnt mind it but my bf hated it. And their black bean chicken was disgusting. Made small talk with the young lady who was the only person I saw inside and said weird how there is literally no one in here. She replied yeah weve been slow today. I understood why the place was literally empty, I mean ZERO CUSTOMERS INSIDE THE RESTAURANT!!! This place isnt what it used to be. Its sad cuz they had great flavour before. And its definitely not like the Vancouver chilli pepper house.

When it came out, it was bland and was lacking taste, not sure what flavour the chef was trying to accomplish. Place was empty and i can see why. If that was the most popular dish, then theres no saving these guys.
