This part of Surrey has a lot of fast food options for lunch. This is one of the best values around. I go at least once a week nowadays when I’m working in the neighbourhood. Good banh mi and their banh gio are probably my favourite comfort food. Get one of each and you have a very satisfying lunch for $6. (Tip: for the banh gio, be sure to go before 1pm, as they sometimes run out.)
One of my favourite banh mi places! A bit pricey which is the reason I didn’t give a perfect score. Their banh cuon and banh gio are made fresh daily and so delicious! Their nuoc mam isn’t the best but I just use my own homemade stuff.*Edit-Ive since given up pork so aside from the special (which was delicious) i have had the chicken sub and it is basically an overwhelming amount of mayo and shredded chicken, not at all appetizing. So dont get the chicken sub-the banh mi place in hen long has a flavourful chicken sub!
Good, but…. What they neglect to mention is that they serve sandwiches for lunch only. The sandwiches are very good, but if you get there after 1 pm, the chances are pretty good you will not be able to order a sandwich. They run out of bread every day, sometimes by 12:30, but definitely by 2. One would have figured that would would simply order more bread, but their bread order continues to fall short despite years of making the same mistake. Call before you go if after 12:30.
Great Sandwich Option. It didn’t seem that long ago when Banh Mi places were everywhere. (or maybe it was just me) This place often looks like it’s not open and I admit only having tried this one when the line at the Afghan bakery was too long. I’m glad I did though, This place give lots of meat, spices and all the things that make Banh Mi great. They’re even served toasted!It’s good to see that some of these places are still sticking around. The Banh Mi is too great a thing to disappear.

I am addicted!. How could I just find this place after living here most of my life? Awesome Banh MI, at $3.75 excellent value. I have had almost every type and love them all but the BBQ pork is my favourite. Also try the cold carrot dumplings they have quite often you will not be dissapointed.
