UP – Friendly staff, good location, decent sushi.DOWN – Perhaps priced a little on the high side. Tuna cone was little uninspiring.OUT – This spot is located in right on the highway. A good spot to fill up, grab a coffee, and if you have time, sit down to eat some sushi. Food itself was alright, service was very nice, but nothing out of this world.
I went to Hiko Sushi on Nov 6th 2015 for dinner. The waitress was very friendly. As I sat down she gave me a free piece of crispy veggie spring roll. It was good. I ordered a tamago roll, full order of prawn tempura and Miso soup. The menu is a little pricey compared to other places in the area. The food was good, tempura was good and not greasy, miso was good , the sushi rice and tamago was good but the chef need to roll them better . Every piece of tamago roll was falling apart making them a little awkward to eat. They gave a generous portion of wasabi and ginger and the waitress also left me a pitcher of water and pot of tea on my table. The meal cost $13,97 after tax.
