Recommended. I often visit this little place for lunch – really great lunch deal prices. Sambal chicken is to die for!
What a nice surprise!. I love Egg Fu Yung and I was surprised not to see the usual rather flavorless basic omelette floating in a sea of tasty but salty sludge like other places make it. They weren’t covered in goo. What they were was incredibly tasty and stuffed with fried green beans, onions, and other yummy things. They didn’t need a sauce! The Egg Rolls were slim and the best I’ve had in the area. I also ordered Cashew Chicken and again I was surprised by the presentation. Instead of tiny, bland, diced chicken and veggies you got nice big chunks of meat and veggies and again, the flavour was excellent.Their menu was expansive, the prices reasonable and I got a very nice older delivery man. I’ve heard that the Malaysian dishes are particularly good, but I liked the Chinese cuisine I tried. I will definitely be going back.
Not for me. All I look for is a place with good Hot and Sour soup. This was not it. Sweet and Sweet better describes what this restaurant delivers. Ordered a spicy chicken dish but I believe the only spice used was pepper. Very bland. Service was fine and the cost very reasonable.
Not great. Maybe I chose the wrong items, but the noodles, while flavourful, were stir-fried in burnt oil, very greasy and over cooked. The tofu was full of cooked cucumber (not sure if that’s authentic?), the calamari in a heavy batter. It was just okay. Not impressed; have had much better Malaysian elsewhere.
Everyday for Lunch!. When my office was little closer I’d be at this place nearly every workday for lunch! I still get over there every couple of weeks. Can’t beat it. I Fabulous food, generous portions and great prices. Make sure to order the Malaysian dishes. Absolutely delicious! My all time favourite is the Sambal Chicken.
The chef takes pride in their food. Please, for your own sake, do -not-, like I did for years, be put off by the unglamorous exterior. You would be doing yourself a disservice to not try their food. Went here today for the first time and had the sweet & sour pork and a nice big 500mL can of Tiger beer at lunch. Included a generous portion of jasmine rice and hot and sour soup. Was surprised that the total (after tax) was only $14, considering the big beer was $6. Will definitely be coming back soon!
