Came here on a Saturday for dinner. We knew this place is small yet busy so we waited around 4:45pm in order to avoid long line up later. They open at 5pm sharp and just let us choose our own seats so we picked the bar table. However we still couldn’t see a lot of action from the chefs as the counter was blocked by the mini fridge (where they store the ingredients). Anyway, despite we were the first one sat down but we didn’t get to order after a good 15 minutes while the server was taking orders from people around us (left, right, and behind). When it was finally our turn to order he briefly told us what kind of fish/seafood we’re available for the day and we decided to go with omakase (let the chef pick for us) on the sashimi and aburi sushi. It was quite a selection for that day and I liked the scallop with caviar the most. As for aburi (8 pieces), I found the sauce too sweet that I can barely taste the original flavor of the fish/wagyu beef. So I kept drinking the tea hoping I could wash down the flavor a bit. One thing about sitting at the bar table is you don’t get a lot of attention from the server so I have to constantly asking for refill on tea. The bill came to $350 (including tax and tips) for 2 people. We couldn’t finish the aburi sushi so we asked to box them to go and the funny thing was we waited at the table for the box…until the chef noticed (cuz we had no food in front of us) and asked us what we were waiting for, he then told us the box was at the front counter for pick up, which I found really awkward.Come here for the fresh fish and seafood and you won’t be disappointed, but don’t expect high quality service. The servers should get trained better to be more attentive and courteous in my opinion.

The sign of the store is not that obvious even tho the location is great, as well as the curtains made us think that was closed. The taste is worth to wait, I like Mango the best, then goes to the Grill Sushi menu, good to try one for each.
