A personal favourite is this little Mediterranean restaurant located at the end of a dead end road at Holiday Park Resort. The service is always professional and the food is always perfect. I have never in my life had a better jambalaya, which is to me the best item on the menu. Chicken, sausage, prawns and penne with an indescribably amazing cream based sauce. Try it, you will love it.
A favorite for special occasions, and the blackened prime rib is a must have. And of course who could forget about Bernard Callebaut chocolate mousse, truly amazing!
Pretty good. Everything was great except it took a long time because it was very busy. The food was all excellent I had the pesto ravioli and I loved it . I would definitely go many times more . The atmosphere was great the music was a little loud but it was still great
Great food, excellent value. 2nd visit to Ricardo’s a few weeks back after an earlier visit a few years ago. The place doesn’t disappoint for very good well-cooked food, very generous portions for the main courses so excellent value for money.A good portion of the menu is not really Italian but more west coast. If you pick either, you won’t be disappointed (though the appetizer/entre portions are a bit small) but choose carefully if you want Italian.Go early too. Some of the specials run out fast. On the day we went, the Fraser Valley duck special (two legs- better confited and reheated than a lot of duck I had in France this winter) had run out before 630.
Very nice restaurant. Great food. Staff is so friendly, great atmosphere. Definitely recommend this restaurant . We our staying at the Holiday Park for a few days and will definitely be back before we leave .
Fantastic on every way. Beautiful dinner, the gnocchi are the best I’ve ever tasted, Brie appetizer was brilliant and the cocktails were fabulous (try the In Bloom, best cocktail I’ve ever tasted). You can tell love went into this food. Will be back time and time again.
Very disappointing. Went to Ricardo’s to celebrate our anniversary. Started off with a great cocktail and appetizer (mussels) but boy did things go down hill fast after that. I had the special (crispy duck confit) and it was anything but special. Choked down one leg but that was it. What a tasteless, dried up piece of poultry. Think Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation trying to eat the dried up turkey! That about sums it up! My husband had sockeye (????) salmon, again pretty tasteless and like my duck over-priced for what you got. We decided to forgo dessert and enjoy a glass of ice wine…which was listed under ice wines on the menu. The menu should read: dessert wines because what we had was NOT ice wine. A late harvest is not ice wine! Service was also hit and miss…again started out well, but we sat forever with our appetizer plates in front of us and waited probably over 20 minutes for our ice wine….not! We will never go back to this restaurant again.
