Breakfast Paella, Proof of lobster chunks in the breakfast paella, Side order of a whole waffle, Besto Pesto Benny, Blueberry SconeThis was the main event when we visited Kelowna. Last time in Kelowna we skipped it just so we can gain an hour driving.biggest regret of my life. Breakfast Paella had real lobster, real crab, real scallops and real shrimp tossed in a pan with tarragon lemon butter and oven roasted hashbrowns. Topped with two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce then sprinkled with paprika and green onion and a slice of toast. I got the brown bread (because I am the epitome of health) and it went well with the jam they provided which was some peach flavor. All the jams here are on point, its called the Jammery. The paella was so damn good, it had large chunks of all the seafood as shown in that picture of my last couple bites.Perfect ratio of seafood to hashbrown, covered in that hollandaise sauce, makes this dish great. Was going to get half a waffle, but screw that I was hungry, screw being healthy. Waffles were so light that it was almost felt like a diet waffle if that makes any sense. Could easily eat 10 of these. Besto Pesto Benny had Bacon, fresh tomato slices and two poached eggs on an english muffin smothered with our pesto hollandaise sauce and topped with grated parmesan cheese. Served with oven roasted hashbrowns. It sounds as delicious as it tasted, probably one of the best bennys ive ever tasted. No lie. The scone was dense and had fresh blueberrys, probably not the best thing to eat after all this food. Still delicious but moderation is key. Health is wealth.Located just north of Kelowna, its hard to miss this temple of deliciousness. Great service in a restaurant that split to accommodate a store full of jams. Havent been here for lunch or dinner but if its a reflection of what the bfast is here, then its definitely a place to get Jammed.Sal says: Just Eat It.@colingrimard:Only ever ate breakfast but it is good, best waffles I’ve ever had. Hollandaise is top notch. Great price too for breakfast. Would Bang.Erik says: It was really good. This place is slightly overrated due to the YGEH feature. It’s still delish and service is relatively quick but the lines are out of control now. I’ve been here for a soup and sandwich lunch and I actually prefer that to their expansive brunch offerings. Waffles are great though, and the Cheeseburger eggs benny certainly is decadent. For just a normal bacon and eggs you can find better elsewhere for cheaper. If you’re gonna wait in line for the Jammery make sure you go all out and spare no calories – think stuffed french toast, yum!
Their scones should be illegal. So delicious! And the Rueben sandwich, forget about it! Seriously good place to eat. Their jams are fantastic and it’s cool to watch them make it.
best eggs bennies in kelowna. their hollendaise is amazing and there is plenty of items on the menu that include it. their waffles are also very good.
Saw this place on YGEH and was dead set on trying it the next time I came to Kelowna. As the other reviews have stated, expect to wait to be seated – we walked in and were quoted a 25min wait and we were seated within that time frame. Kill some time and look around the gift shop, try some jams (they have a couple out with crackers for tasting). For breakfast I tried the seafood paella and the all you can eat waffles both of which were featured on the show (YGEH). After ordering there is a bit of a wait till the food arrives however with that said, you could tell the kitchen staff was working non-stop/all out as their was always a ton of dishes on the pass. This may just be a matter of the restaurants constant busyness. All that being said the service is friendly (the hostesses at the front are more on the blunt side but not rude) and once the food arrives it’s so good you forget the wait. The seafood paella is everything it’s advertised – chunks of crab and lobster, whole scallops and shrimps tossed with hashbrowns then topped with two (medium cooked) eggs and covered in hollandaise. The dish also came with toast and small orange garnish. All the tastes complimented each other, with the buttery seafood, well seasoned hollandaise and runny yolk. I would definitely recommend this to anyone unsure of what to try. The all you can eat waffles were some of the best waffles I’ve ever had, served with jam (strawberry, our choice) and whipped cream (along with a fresh fruit medley side). This was probably the first time I’ve ever not used syrup on waffles and it was because the jam and whipped cream held its own and complimented the crispy (yet light and fluffy inside) waffles. Regardless if you plan to fully take advantage of the all you can eat aspect, do yourself a favor if you’re looking for something sweet and order this. Overall this place is now one of my favorite spots that I’ve checked out from a YGEH recommendation. Will ensure to stop by anytime I’m in the area!
Extremely poor service. On Saturday June 18 myself and three buddies were looking forward to a nice breakfast after all that I have read. Walked in a were seated. Got our drinks and placed our order and waited…and waited….and waited…and waited. After 20 minutes we noticed tables that had arrived after us were being served. It was not that busy. Tried to flag down our waitress. Noticed a table of 6 that had arrived 15 minutes earlier getting served so we dropped some cash on our table to cover for the coffee and left.
Would recommend going super early if you want Sunday brunch. The wait we were told would be an hour. Decided to go back the next day around 9am instead and it wasn’t as busy and we were seated upon entering. I really enjoyed the Monte Cristo Benny and the fresh fruit it came with.Eggs Benny is my absolute favourite, so I loved the different benny options. All of the menu items sounded delicious so it was really hard to decide, they have all you can eat waffles too. The service was good and my coffee was continuously topped up. I even had time to browse through the gift shop and purchase some homemade jam and other goodies while waiting for my meal. Would definitely recommend checking out this place for breakfast!
