Food was average at best , quite pricy for what you get. Nothing special but the Staff was quite friendly. There was a slight error on our order and it was resolved right away.
It looks like your basic local greasy spoon buts it’s actually so much more. I often went here for breakfast on the weekends while in University and always had the Benny, which could be the best in town. The coffee is also surprisingly delicious. Don’t expect to be wowed by the decor but order a Benny and a coffee and I assure you you’ll be happy. Plus you’ll always be able to get a table.

Meals To-Go. Sept 25 / 2014. Purchased a meal To-Go today BAKED HAM . it came with roasted ham, scalloped potatoes, and veggies. The ham was So amazing zero fat n thin sliced how i like it, the potatoes were so cheesy n yummy and the veggies were awesome i didn’t even need to add pepper. So much flavour in every bite! Two thumbs up! left me full and happy! Thanks Wooden Nickel !
We go there to eat at least twice a month. The service and reasonably priced food is never disappointing. Some of the best home cooked food is at this restaurant. Love it
Great Benny. My Boyfriend and I go to the wooden Nickel at least 1 every other week, every time we go we always get the Eggs Benny. It is always nice, hot and, perfectly cooked and served with their awesome hash browns, Great Place! and Great Eggs Benny !
