This is a casual restaurant/cocktail bar located in Yaletown. They have a pretty spacious interior/bar and also a nice covered patio, and is suitable for groups. Their food menu consists of casual comfort food; I had their Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup and Mac & Cheese Skillet with Shortribs. While the Mac & Cheese was a bit bland for my liking, I really enjoyed their Grilled Cheese. The service could be improved: while everything was quite efficient, I did find the staff to be a bit cold and not very welcoming. Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup ($13):4/5I loved the sandwich: the bread was perfectly toasted and very buttery, with a nice crispy exterior and a soft interior. It was stuffed full of cheese, which was rich and creamy without being too strong or sharp. It was very rich and I think that some people might actually find it to be a bit too heavy; I however, really enjoyed it. I’m not a big fan of tomato soup, and I found this version to be just fine. It was smooth and thick enough, and had a nice tangy flavour. I do wish that they could have had a wider serving bowl to make it easier to dunk the sandwich in.Mac & Cheese Skillet ($15 + $6):3.5/5You can have this with pulled chicken (for $4) or shortribs ($6); I added the latter. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and were tender while still retaining a good chewy texture. I personally found the cheese sauce to be a bit on the thin side however, and did not coat the noodles well. The dish was also a bit on the bland side. The shortribs were very tender and juicy, but also a bit underseasoned. I also found the price to be a bit high since the portion was not very big.Summary:Food: 3.5/5Price: 3.5/5Service: 3/5Overall: 3.5/5Recommendations: Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup

I really enjoyed my visit here. Aside from the amazing branding of this place from their menus to their interior design, their food was also great! Reasonably priced in the heart of Yale town. Their portions were huge! I had the Thai vegetarian curry with chicken. It tasted good and the portion was huge! The tacos were moist and flavourful. The only gripe I had was it’s presentation (picture). My michelada drunk was great; the pepper flake chilli rim was so delicious. I am overall impressed with this place! I want to come here and try their happy hour next!

Cool joint, great food and service. Nice to see a non-chain in the neighbourhood. Definitely worth checking out happy hour on the patio. My favourite yaletown spot for sure.
