Beautiful place. Amazing atmosphere. Welcoming staff. The food was average but the vibe is so good that makes up for the food. Will surely go back to try different stuff from the menu. Oh, it was our anniversary so they got us a card and a complimentary cakes, made us feel special for acknowledging it. Thank you.
Food: so delicious. All portions very generous. Started the night off strong with tender, buttery Aburi Sablefish Battera. Then went on to the mains. Kobe shortrib was tender (a bit heavy) and so good. The Sablefish entree was the star of the show- perfect balance of subtlety and melt in your mouth flavour. Since we were celebrating a birthday they plated a small complimentary dessert! Ambiance: awesome, fancy Service: servers are friendly but food took a very long time and took a while to clear our plates
Blue Water is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in Vancouver. The entire experience is perfect in nearly every regard. Everything from the attentiveness and knowledge of the wait staff to the quality and presentation of the food. Blue Water has this down absolutely pat!When you come here, expect to spend $100 a head and you wont be overwhelmed and you can easily expect yourself to enjoy an awesome evening!This recent visit has been my third visit to Blue Water and I enjoyed our meal very much!
The best place for special occasions – I’ve had two of my all time favourite meals here. It is all wonderful but obviously expensive. You can’t go wrong with the local oysters.
We celebrated ourfriends’ anniversary here. They served everything good.Foods, desserts, drinks, vibe & ambiance, staffs, and location are all great. Highly Recommend!
We enjoyed a fantastic meal here this week. Seafood tasting for two was a tower of 4 small appetizers, all were excellent especially the salmon Terrine. We had scallops and a pan seared halibut for dinner. The halibut was the best piece of fish I’ve ever had, and was perfectly cooked. Our waiter was great and the restaurant has lively atmosphere. We will definitely go back next time we are in Vancouver!
Food and service is always outstanding. It is on the pricier side, but the taste and quality beats out anywhere in Vancouver. Would definitely recommend for special occasions.
