Awesome. Im originally from onatario. Travelling and stopped at bc for a month. Ever since i found out about branas ive been there every morning. I fell in live with the place. They have a tv with amazing pictures of beautiful scenery. Good soothing music in the morning. Their food is decently price for the taste. The presentation and service is amazing. give them a chance and you wont regret it. It feels like a family community with the regulars coming in. 🙂
The food is amazing, greT location, gorgeous views and the stuff was attentive and well organized. Ordered roasted lamb shoulder- very tender and great balanced seasoning. Will be there as reg soon.
My absolute favourite family neighbourhood and date night spot. The food is amazing and the service is always friendly. I love that they support local musicians as well. Recommend it to everyone! We go for every birthday and family event. Love it!
Great neighbourhood spot. Great spot at Stamps Landing on False Creek. Really good variety and a great sunny Sunday brunch spot. Only trouble is parking can be a hassle.
The Best Place we have visited in Vancouver. We have visited Branas Restaurant after reading many reviews on internet and dont regret about it. It is quite a small place so i would recommend you to book a table in advance. They were quite busy but the waitresses were always there when we needed something. I have an allergy on shel fish but i love Chiopino. The chef was very kind to make me one with only fish(salmon, snapper and some other fish, not sure what it was). It was delicious! My husband had a staffed snapper with spinach and real crab meat. He loved it! The service was great, even though it was extremely busy. They have a big selection of wines by the glass that was quite nice as we are a wine lovers. We just came for a dinner but stayed for long time lessening to the live band. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends.
GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!. Our friends recommended this place to us and i can not be happier that we went there. The food was amazing and the price for the quality of food was unbelievable!It was Sunday and they had a live music. The service was outstanding! It was my boyfriend birthday and the waitress overheard us talking about it and at the end of the meal brought us very testy Greek desert with two shouts of sumbuca. We could not believe our eyes. Where else would you get that with out being charged! She was a sweetheart! We would definitely recommend this place to other people! Good job staff of Branas and Many complements to the chef for amazing food!!!!! Thank you guys!
Worst Service in Vancouver. When I first entered the building and saw the beautiful view I was excited! It was breath taking.That was the only pro this restaurant can claim. Our service was terrible. We were a long table of 15. The server refilled water glasses ONLY TWICE the entire three hours we were there both times the pitcher emptied before she made it to my end of the table so we didn’t get our water filled at all. I SPECIFICALLY told the waitress I was allergic to shell fish yet my salad has a piece of shell right on the top. When I informed the waitress she rudely informed me it wasn’t from the kitchen and must be from someone’s plate. Even though all 4 of the people in my little area had nothing but salads. When she brought me out a fresh salad she did NOT bring me back out my untouched piece of garlic bread which isn’t a big deal except the part where yes, yes it is. The food should come as advertised.My boyfriend and a friend of ours both ordered beet salad but the two salads they brought out were DRASTICALLY different. One was the advertised beet salad and the other one was very clearly a greek salad with beets on the top. When we tried to get a 2nd BEET SALAD we were told this WAS a beet salad made by someone else. It’s called a recipe. You should have one if you own a recipe. She offered to take it back and get a fresh one without peppers and onions since that was the main problem with it.. and in fact came back with the SAME SALAD with the onions and peppers picked off the top layer.My ceasar salad dressing was garlicky to the point of being inedible. My boyfriend got up to go to the (incredibly dirty) washroom and she cleared his beer without asking that was still MORE than halfway fill yet she left the empty food plates sitting there until we left. When he inquired about his beer she said he could purchase another one. My boyfriends beet salad was good but how could we ever go back for him to order it again when we have no idea what they would bring out of the kitchen?ON TOP OF THAT the owner would go smoke right by the open door looking into his restaurant blowing his nasty smoke inside. What a joke. It was honestly the worst service I’ve had in my entire life.
