It’s a small restaurant and easy to get missed out on Granville Street. Their food are always great (esp their butter chicken and naan bread). Highly recommended.

This is a small shop located on Granville Street serving up a small menu of popular Indian dishes. Even though they have a few seats, most of the people get takeout from here. During my visit, I had a Veggie Samosa, Butter Chicken on Rice Bowl, and Chicken Naan Wrap. I really enjoyed all of the food, in particular the Chicken Naan Wrap, which was just freaking fantastic. The prices are also very reasonable. All in all, this is a place that I’d highly recommend checking out.Veggie Samosa ($1.75):3.5/5The samosas aren’t made on order, and the one that I received was warm, but not hot. However, it was still quite tasty, and contained a nice amount of spiced potatoes. The surrounding pastry was also crisp and had a nice flakiness that I quite enjoyed.Curry on Rice Bowl (Butter Chicken, $8)4/5The curry contained several large pieces of butter chicken. They appear to use at least some dark meat, which was naturally more tender and juicy. The sauce was thick, creamy and quite flavourful, with just enough heat to make me sweat a bit. The basmati rice was also well-cooked and maintained a nice bit of chew even after being covered by the sauce. The portion size was not very big – more of a snack than a meal – but since it’s $8, I can’t really complain.Chicken Naan Wrap ($8):5/5The wrap was filled with masala chicken, lettuce and some other vegetables. I freaking LOVED this. The naan was warm and fresh and was filled with tender pieces of chicken that were coated in a delicious curry sauce. The lettuce and other vegetables were fresh and crisp. The wrap did get a little soggy from all the sauce, but was still delicious. It was also a pretty generous size, and well worth the $8.Summary:Food: 4/5Price: 4.5/5Service: N/AOverall: 4/5Recommendations: Curry on Rice Bowl, Chicken Naan Wrap

Incredibly ignorant, rude and overall shi**y people work here. They wont know what customer service is if it bit them in the a**. If a rating lower than 1 existed I would give them that. First they give you the wrong order then say you’re lying. Because professional mature people running a business in the city have nothing better to do than lie over a shi**Y piece of $10 chicken takeout order.I found this place a month ago for relatives who were visiting from overseas and would only eat indian food. I would walk 30 minutes to get this food as I read good reviews. A few days ago I ordered a ton of food with Chicken Tika Masala. The guy repeated the order over the phone. Then he called me to say pick it up because we’re closing at 5pm. Which is NOT what their timing was on the web. So I had to leave work quickly and go pick up the food. Food turned out to be different. Instead of Chicken Tika they gave me Saag a vegetarian dish. I still have it in the container because no one ate it. When I called today to order again I politely reminded the guy what happened before. I wanted to make sure he got the order right this time. He was extremely rude and acted as if HE had done me some great favor by giving me the WRONG food. As if I was lying to steal his $10 chicken plate. LMAO! Not only is this place dirty, its customer service is even worse. If you don’t order over the phone, they make you wait 20 minutes like a fool. And if you order over the phone they give you the wrong food and then accuse you of lying.Health Service Canada needs to pay a visit to these idiots. I will add to this review if I get an apology. The ignorant fool on the phone needs to learn basic manners and customer service and realize not everyone is out to steal his $10 chicken. Not only have they lost a customer for life, they’ve also shown their ignorant a** to the world. This review will be read by countless people so they can be warned about what they’re dealing with. I would never order food from here again and don’t recommend it to anyone else either. If you get the order wrong, which happens at other restaurants too, not only will you not be compensated by these people they’ll also accuse you of lying. The only right way to deal with the issue was for the fool over the phone to act like a professional, apologize for the wrong order and take my new order. Even after the wrong order I was willing to order again because I thought they made a mistake. Which is okay. Its okay to make mistakes and mature adults apologize for their mistakes and try to fix them instead of accusing their own customers of lying. Overall, horrible experience. Wont recommend it to anyone. None of my relatives and friends will eat here. The good food is NOT worth the bad customer service experience and being accused of lying over a $10 chicken. My only message to the idiot over the phone is. Buddy, you can keep your $10 chicken with this review for the entire world to see. I hope accusing me and being rude over the phone was worth it. Have a good day!
