Sometimes a restaurant gives themselves a cheesy name like this one and doesn’t deliver. Not the case. The sushi quality and freshness was on point. My Toro sashimi was perfection. The spicy crunch role had just the right spice and crunch. Only piece I didn’t like was the wild salmon nigiri, in reality I found it dry. For the price though this place has great service, location and quality. The prawn tempura and miso soup was great too!
This place used to be the best sushi in the city for the price. It’s gone downhill. They double charged my debit card multiple times in one month and when the bank called them at my request to inquire about this they hung up. I would only pay with cash here now. Food used to be delicious but it’s average now. Not sure if the ownership changed or the chef’s perhaps changed. The girl’s at the cash have definitely changed over the years.
I order there all the time, the sushi is great, tasty and fresh, and for a really good price too. The only thing is the sometimes the cooked stuff isnt as good as I like it, but with the amount of sushi I consume, I hardly ever have space for the cooked food
Sushi worship. Best sushi in Vancouver especially for the price. Always so nice in there and friendly. Definitely recommend this place of you are true sushi fanatic like me
RUDE and SLOW. Ordered take-away, got it after 1.5 hours. Did not even apologise or give us a discount. The food was average, never wasting my time again.
The food here has been great. However, we were there on August 4, 2014 evening and waitress did not give good service & was a bit rude.
Lovely lunch. My husband and I had lunch here the other day. The sushi was very fresh and tasty and the chicken teriyaki was tasty and good as well. We thought it was very good value for the money.
