One of several shops in Downtown specializing in French fries/poutine, this one distinguishes itself a bit from the others by providing some unique Asian-fusion flavours like Kimchi and Okonomi. I’ve tried their Bacon and Pulled Pork Poutine and their Crispy Chicken Frites. The food was fresh, piping-hot and flavourful. I did find their regular size to be a bit on the smaller side and not quite large enough for a meal. However, they do give a generous amount of topping, and I think that it is still pretty good value for the price. I highly recommend visiting this place.Bacon and Pulled Pork Poutine (Regular Size, $8.99):3.5/5This came with a very generous amount of topping: there was a goodheap of pulled pork and bacon bits. The pulled pork was sufficiently tender and juicy. It was more on the savoury side, and I personally prefer to have a bit of sweetness in my pulled pork. The bacon was smoky and had a good salty flavour. Now, I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard that authentic cheese curds aren’t supposed to melt, and theirs did, but seriously I couldn’t care less, I enjoyed the cheese. The fries were thick and flavourful. I do feel that they did use a bit too much gravy however, and the fries on the bottom got quite soggy.Crispy Chicken Fries (Regular Size, $8.99):4/5This consisted of pieces of fried chicken and your choice of sauce: I picked their peanut satay, which was creamy and sweet, with a slight bit of heat; I did find the peanut flavour to be a tad weak however. Once again, there was a generous amount of topping. The chicken was tender and flavourful, although the batter did understandably get a bit soggy from the sauce. Since there was no gravy, the fries were much crispier and quite tasty.

Best poutine ever. So many Flavour. Extremely high quality and huuuuuge. Owners are the nicest people I have ever met in a restaurant.. He deals with the granville idiots every weekend at the worst times looking for the worst foods. I have seen people wasted eating food like a clown over the register, eating like an untrained animal and going behind the counter to be an idiot and the owner is still kind and happy.Truly incredible, I would be very very sad if this place closed down.

Ordered Crispy Chicken & traditional poutine with 4 dips. It was OK not that great. Expected a bit more from them as they had good rating. But, there was this one thing which made me disgusted, particles, which when bit on they feel like chomping on sand (basically when you drop something on floor n pick it up then try to eat n it has dirt on it!) It was present in both the poutine. On the other hand, the cheese curds where great! Will give them another try… for waffle sandwich…

Tried two of their poutines and they were ok. a bit too oily at the bottom but flavours are not bad. They are made to order so everything is fresh

We wandered in because of the entertainment book and the owner (?) guessed that it was out first time here. He was all smiles and seemed please that the book was working and bringing in the curious. Service was quick and very friendly!I had the Oknomi Frites, really tasty! My friend had one of the double layered poutines which I didn’t really like, as it had too much sauce. When the food came out I was overly excited and forgot to snap a pic before digging in! The Oknomi has all the tasty toppings you could want with your Japanese and poutine fusion. Yummy! All in all, I’d come back to try their fun gourmet frites or for a snack after some beers.
