This was the second time I decided to done at Hurricane grill. My first experience was horrible, customer service was lacking, food had no flavour. My second trip, this past one, was fabulous. I wanted some sort of beef dip or steak sandwich and asked the server for a suggestion. She suggested the philly cheese steak with au jus. BEST SANDWICH HANDS DOWN. It was boasting flavour and it was plated beautifully. The whole reason why I’m writing this is because she said she was new to the restaurant, and I just want to applaud hurricane grill on taking the right steps to turn the service around at your restaurant. She said she had just moved from the Victoria (don’t remember her name) and she was fantastic! I will definitely return and eat here. Excellent service, excellent food recommendation, and excellent conversation. JESS.
To sum it up: Pretty decent bar food/portions for lunch and dinner, great patio, average service, great brunch – oddly best hash browns I’ve had in town, dated restaurant signage (from the 90s?).Go here for brunch because you will get a great view on the patio and a taste of the cities best hash browns (no lie, I will update this if I run into better ones). These things are probably double cooked and fried.

Had the dine out menu here with my wife. The food was okay for the price but the biggest problem was cleanliness. Almost every utensil we received was stained and we had to use our glasses of water to wipe them down. Ones that we couldn’t wipe down, we asked for another. Plates and bowls all had stains on them. I was even handed a napkin with a stain. One of the desserts was chocolate mousse. They served it in a wine glass. There were finger prints and whip cream stains on the glass. When we asked to change it, the waitress gave us an excuse that the it sprays when served. Bottom line is we won’t come back.
Food Quality has improved a lot in the last year. The price point is fair as well. Its a good location and you get good value for your money. Check is 25% less than Cactus Club or Earls with only a small step down in food quality.
Awesome spot! Great food, great presentation, good value for the money. But best of all great service. Very underrated. Loved the eggs Benny. Great and real hollindaise. Great English muffins. Awesome spot.
