After reading many great reviews we decided to come here for a celebration. We ordered a soup and pate te to start. The soup was very salty, we couldn’t finish it. The pate te was a bit better, but nothing special. For our mains we ordered the lobster and a steak with fries. The lobster itself was not bad, but the sauce that came with it was not good. Very thick and bland. The steak…we’ve had better. We were so disappointed we did not bother ordering dessert. For such a high class restaurant the quality of food is definitely not worth it and especially for the price you will be paying. Not sure why people are still giving this place such high praise. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else!
Their service is a hit and miss. Came here a few times and the service was not consistent (including the valet, but not sure if its related to the restaurant) and the environment was really loud and cramped sometimes. However, their food is always great and consistent. My favourite is their duck breast, and any appetizer involving foie gras. Their venison is also very soft and tender. Their beef tartare and bone marrow was just a bit too salty for me (personal preference). Their desserts are also a nice touch to the end of the meal — not too sweet and the portions are just right.
