Probably the best pho that I’ve had in Vancouver, flavorful, large portions, I’d eat here again for sure. The place was quite small so there isn’t much room to move around or have a private conversation but it was still good food
Tried their large rare beef pho. Beef is quite stiff and dry. Soup is just mediocre. Portion is small compared to other Vietnamese restaurant. Servers are attentive tho!
The restaurant is not huge but it has personality! This incredible mural is painted along the back wall separating the diners from the kitchen. The decor is simple but classy with a touch of foodie fun. Their Happy Hour deal is quite incredible. You get three items off their eight-item menu for just $12. What a fantastic deal.I got their Prawn & Pork Salad Roll with their peanut sauce. I LOVE that peanut sauce. OMG, delicious!!! Everything was so fresh and clean, no MSGIf this is the mini Pho, I can not imagine how big the regular Pho must be! I added the garnishes, lime juice and then tasted a spoonful and knew there was something missing. Usually when I order Pho, it is take out and there are all these little sauces you add. I asked my server what I was missing. A NEW sauce! They have a SPICY hoisin for the Pho. Oh yeah Much better! I did not find it super spicy, just incredibly flavourful and exactly what the Pho needed.I ordered the pork spring rolls but many of these appetizers had vegetarian options. These are available in veggie and tofu. Dipped in their dip-able fish sauce (which still blows my mind that they created such a genius foodie product) it made these crunchy treats a little funky in the best of ways. Damn! You can find a full review of my site Suzie the Foodie. suziethefoodie.com
came here during an afternoon lunch in winter, and well, i didn’t expect much because it’s in yaletown, well true enought what i thought was right, a bowl of pho in yaletown, true there’s no msg, therefore the food taste okay but totally more unexciting due to the lack of msg, not sure if i’m going crazy but i think due to eating too much msg outside the taste is rather simple. and portion wise is a bit small just slightly smaller. overall i think it’s definitely okay, but not really as surprising or good or memorable, but okay. maybe best organic pho available i’ve tried. mangkr.wordpress.com
Their pho is great. I enjoy the soup a lot. They claim no MSG, just TLC. Chicken patti is my regular order and I usually pay for extra vegetables. The prawns in the seafood pho did not taste fresh. The beef was shewy. But I just love the broth. The rice rolls were delicious. The rice wrap was very sticky, a good condistency.Well, the rice with Lemon Grass Chicken was the worst. Not edible. Tasted like the chicken was 4 days old. So, stick with the pho.
