This place used to be good but had a recent bad experience. I just brought a guest here who was visiting from out of town. My guest didnt like their strawberry margarita and found it tasteless. My guest informed the waitress and manager that the drink was tasteless. They refused to change it, argued with my guest and still charged for the drink. I was very disappointed and embarassed that I brought my guest here.
I had the vegetarian enchiladas here and to be honest it’s alright. I was just taking a break from playing and walking the dog across the street. It’s not a big place but it’s laid back. Parking is limited. But if you park on the marina side there’s free parking. I would come back again to try other items. Service is friendly.
We just went for late lunch and the food and service were terrible. I came here two years ago and it was as bad as today but I thought I should give it another try. There were 4 of us and we ordered drinks but it took like 20 minutes for the first drink to show up and another 15 min for the second drink (Margaritta!) One person ordered Nachos and I have never ever seen such a unappetizing Nachos before. The 3 dishes came together but the 4th one (the terrible Nachos) took at least 10 minutes. So the rest of us had to wait and finally call someone to see whether the Nachos was coming or not. Then the nachos came without the beef on them! then a little, tiny bowl with pieces of beef arrived and they asked us to put it all together. anyway, all and all, the service was mediocre and food was definitely bad. don’t go here to have proper Mexican food, just go because it has food!
Despite the mixed reviews I actually enjoyed the nachos here. The servers were relatively friendly and refilled our water without being asked. The price is reasonable for a restaurant in Yaletown- overall, it was a decent dining experience for me.

This place has gone down hill and they’re cheapos with portions, hot sauce and salsa. Not recommended AT ALL. Don’t understand the hype of this place. Unless it was 5 years ago when it was semi decent.
